Adventure on a Firing Range - Soon

Posted by Joie - Filed under , , , ,
A friend of mine is a member of the Special Action Forces of the Philippines. I have met him during our way home from a Palawan summer vacation. He was very accommodating so we easily bacame friends. He also stays here in Manila so the communication between the two of us was still there. ON the ship, he was asking me and my friends if we wanted to try out fire shooting. At the ship, everybody seems to be interested to do so. But later on I was the only one left having conversations with him regarding guns anf fire shooting.

He is currently assigned in a far province right now so the gun shooting lessons are still on hold.

Guns have never been a fascination for me until now. Holding a gun seems to be a scary thing to do. But after browsing on several sites about airsoft, guns, it seems to be a cool thing for me now. I know guns should be held responsibly. But as a sport, shooting seems to be a very challenging sport to try. Hopefully when he comes back, I would be able to undergo lessons with him and my curiosity with guns and shooting would be satisfied.

I can't help but wait.

August 21, 2009 - Special Non-Working Holiday ( No Work, No Pay )

Posted by Joie - Filed under , , ,
Last week were estatic to discover that we still have two-holidays in August. August 21 - Nonoy Aquino's day and August 31 - National Heroes Day.

Ninoy Aquino Day is celebrated in commemoration of the heroes Death Day. Twenty-five years ago, he was assasinated at the Ninoy Aquino Airport leaving a mark to the country's history.

Yesterday, a memo was posted in our office's bulletin board. Ninoy Aquino Day is a Special No-Working Holiday. What startled us is its a No Work, No Pay Day.I just can't seem to get it, it's a holiday so you are not suppose to go to work, but if you won't go to work, you won't get paid.August 21 is a red higlighted day in the calendar. Just like Christmas and other regular holidays.Holidays are no work with pay days. How come Ninoy Aquino's Day is a No Work no pay day?
If our country cannot fix simple glitches like this, how can they handle bigger issues in our country?

Can't Wait For Summer

Posted by Joie - Filed under , , , ,
Summer is still 6 months away from now, but I can't help but get excited to visit the beach again.
Last summer due to the unpredictable weather, we were unable to go the beach. My boyfiend and I, together with my siblings went to a new resort in our place. It was a fun experience. On our first visit to the resort, I was with my boyfriend, brother and cousin. My cousin need to learn how to swim because she would be having swimming as her lesson in PE. My younger brother claims he knows how to swim, but lo and behold, he doesn't. I really laughed hard when he was shouting for help ( " ate , ate, intayin mo ako ) when he had cramps. It was hilarious. I was like ( ayan, ang yabang yabang mo, kinisig ka lang, kala mo mamatay ka na) your so proud and then here you go screaming as if your going to die because of cramps. My boyfriend ,cousin and I laughed hard at him. Later the day, my boyfriend and I taught the kids how to float. I don't know how to breathe underwater but I took up swimming lessons in college so I was able to teach them the basic breathing and floating exercises. My brother was so happy to learn the turtle float.

Our next trip to the place was together with my father, my cousins dad and the family of my other brother. We even brought along my 1 year old niece. She even had a swimsuit for the trip. The kid really enjoyed the day. She would sneak to drink water in the pool. She taught it was a funny thing to do since I was scolding her everytime she does it. The two teenagers, my youngest brother and cousin practiced the basic swimming techniques they have learned.
Hopefully next year, if the weather would be better and if the budget permits, we would be able to visit a beach for the summer. If not, we would gladly spend the day swimming at the local resort near our place.

Just wanna share a few pictures of my niece in her swimsuit.

Filipino's with OFW Friends and Families Abroad, BEWARE !!!

Filipino's with OFW Friends and Families Abroad, BEWARE !!!

Last Saturday ( August 8, 2009 ) , I received a text message from an unknown number. (+639194340595)

"Eto bagong roaming ko, na-block kase yung dati. Kumusta na kau dyan? Magpapadala ako ng package next week, sana magustuhan niyo. Miss na miss ko na kayo. "

This is my new roaming contact the number, the first one got blocked. I will send a package next week, I hope you would like them. I really really miss all of you.

Stupid me, I assumed he was my friend Roemm who works in Saudi Arabia. I got pretty excited so I did not notice the difference in the way he exchange text messages with me. After a few hi and hello's he offered me a business. We would sell prepaid cards. He told me that a 500 prepaid card here costs around 1500.00 pesos there. Imagine 200% profit. A very feasible business. I would send him the pin number of the cards everytime someone buys a card from him and he would later on send the payment and my profit share through Western Union. I did not had money for capital that time. I'm always broke, so he told me to look for a capital so we can start on our business.

Every day I have been receiving text messages from him asking if I had already prepared funds for our business. This felt weird because he was always talking about the money not bothering to say his regards to my family and my boyfriend. Looking back on his messages, they were all around 7am-8am.The Philippines and Saudi Arabia has a 5 hour difference in time zone, so why is he always awake during wee hours in the morning?

So today I have decided to call him on his local number abroad (which costs 20 pesos per minute which explains why I did not call him the first time he send me a text message ).

Roemm answered the phone like a guy who was disturbed from deep sleep. He asked who I was and talked to me like he did not understand what was happening, he yawned and talked like he was still asleep. I told him about the text message and he told me that his roaming number did not got blocked. He seems to be still sleepy (it was 4am there) so I just told him I would tell him the story later this day through our Yahoo Messager.

Thank God I did not had money, if I had, I might have been a victim of this scammer.

After the conversation, I send a message to the phoney guy telling him that I can't find funds for our business. I asked him to send me money instead so that I can buy the prepaid cards. He said he doesn't have money right now. I told him that I was having a hard time funding the business because my older brother ( i did not have one) had cancer and my father who works at the NBI ( my father is a farmer ) does not have extra money to lend me.

He never replied after that.

I would like to take this opportunity to spread this incident to fellow Filipino's who have families and friends abroad. Be aware. Spending 60 pesos for a 3 minute call to call your love ones is much better than splurging money on a business that was a scam after all.

I would also like to thank God. I know I am in deep financial trouble right now, but If I was not broke, I might have lost 5000 pesos or more in the hands of scammers.

God moves in mysterious ways.
Everything has a reason.
So when life seems to hard to bare,
just pray.
God has a purpose for everthing.

Make Money Online...

I have been making money online for almost a year now. It's not that much but it is worth the effort and time I have spent online. At first, being the naive person I am, I immediately believed that making money online is really possible.
My first venture in making money online were in paid to click sites. Some sites proved to be worthy and some are not. But clicking advertisements were boring for me and does not suits my personality, so I became inactive with those sites.Later on I have discoverd Mylot, a paid to post site. It is really something very enjoyable for me to do because I can freely express myself and other members positively share their thoughts and ideas about the interests and topics i have discussed about.I have met a lot of online friends in mylot, and through them, I have discovered more legitimate sites where I can earn money. They are very supportive so I am really happy I have met them.
Another online money making program I enjoy doing are writing sites. Some sites restrict you to certain topics and interests and some sites welcomes work of different topics and interests. Just this morning, I have received an e-mail from one of these sites telling me that my payment has already been sent to my paypal account.
I immediately checked my account, and lo! I have an extra 16.84$ in my pocket. That is enough to cover up for a weeks grocery supply. I am so happy. My hard work has really been paid of. Imagine earning something like that in 3 days. If I have my personal computer and if I could spend more time doing these online activities, I might have earned more, I might have earned more than what I earn in my full time job. I am sacing up to buy myself a laptop for me to use in these online activities.Hopefully, in the near future, I could give up my job and enjoy making money at the confort of my own place. I won't need to live far from my family anymore.
I would like to share the payment proof of the earnings I got from Work Online.

I hope to inspire more people that it is really possible to make money and earn a living online.

Goodluck and Godbless everyone.

After the rain, the Sun will Surely Shine

and it is shining very bright...
today was a really really hot day..
after a week of constant rain and floodings, here comes the scorchin hot sun..
i am already having headaches because of these sudden change in weather.

I saw a film shown in the bus earlier this morning. If i was not mistaken , it was the movie Storm. The story depicts nautral calammities that may occur on Earth if we continue neglecting our environment. First comes drought, el nino, then the melting of the ice caps, and who knows, ice age might happen again if global warming continues. I cannot imagine how man can survive this calamities in the future.

I hope none of these happens though. I fear for the faith of Earth in the future.
Let us start making a change.
A change for the better.

Plant a tree,
walks instead of using a car..
let's conserve energy and out natural resources.

I hope Earth lives on...

Let us help in saving the Earth..

Make Money Online Through Investing

Posted by Joie - Filed under , ,
According to Wikipedia, Investment or investing is a term with several closely-related meanings in business management, finance and economics, related to saving or deferring consumption. Investing is the active redirection of resources: from being consumed today, to creating benefits in the future; the use of assets to earn income or profit.
An investment is a choice by an individual or an organisation such as a pension fund, after at least some careful analysis or thought, to place or lend money in a vehicle (e.g. property, stock securities, bonds) that has sufficiently low risk and provides the possibility of generating returns over a period of time.[3] Placing or lending money in a vehicle that risks the loss of the principal sum or that has not been thoroughly analyzed is, by definition speculation, not investment.[4]
In the case of investment, rather than store the good produced or its money equivalent, the investor chooses to use that good either to create a durable consumer or producer good, or to lend the original saved good to another in exchange for either interest or a share of the profits.
In the first case, the individual creates durable consumer goods, hoping the services from the good will make his life better. In the second, the individual becomes an entrepreneur using the resource to produce goods and services for others in the hope of a profitable sale. The third case describes a lender, and the fourth describes an investor in a share of the business.
In each case, the consumer obtains a durable asset or investment, and accounts for that asset by recording an equivalent liability. As time passes, and both prices and interest rates change, the value of the asset and liability also change.
An
asset is usually purchased, or equivalently a deposit is made in a bank, in hopes of getting a future return or interest from it. The word originates in the Latin "vestis", meaning garment, and refers to the act of putting things (money or other claims to resources) into others' pockets. See Invest. The basic meaning of the term being an asset held to have some recurring or capital gains. It is an asset that is expected to give returns without any work on the asset per se.

In simple terms, investing is a process where you invest a proncipal or an amount that will grow gradually in time depending on what you venture your principal or money at.
Investing can now be done online and can start as low as 1$. I have discovered this through an investment site.

In 30 days, your 1$ will turn into 3.24 dollars, 10.51$ in 60 days, 50.50$ in 100 days without breaking a sweat. You can withdraw your money in 24 hours if you feel like doing it but imagine how you 1$ would turn into in 3 months or more.
Grab this opportunity and join me. I have tried it and it works. Just visit the link 50.50$ in 100 days or click the banner in this post.

Goodluck everyone

Credit Card Debtors Rights

Posted by Joie - Filed under , , ,
I have a outstanding balance in my already closed Credit Card account. I am paying it for almost a year now nad up to this time. The credit card debt collection agency that handles my account still remains, distant, aroogant, rude and very confusing to talk with.

I have already reported this ro the Recoveries Department of the Bank, I thought I would get better treatment from them after that. I am the one who releases money and I am aslo their client. Though the fact remains that I am in debt, the fact also remains that I still deserve some respect.

But again, I had another fight with the agent who handles my account. He is the 5th agents that handled my account. I was so surprised because prior to him, the female agent and I had an agreement that I would not talk to anyone else besides her. I thought I could trust her and her company with that, but again, they failed me.

Yesterday, I was able to talk to his agent named Edward (he put shamed to the name of Twilight protagonist Edward Cullen). He introduced himself and informed me that he is the new agent handling my account and went on discussing about my balances. Surprised, I asked what happened to my former agent. He told me she resigned. I got easily pissed. Why do they keep on giving me the lame excuse that they changed agents because the past agent resigned. I asked him if he has plans on resigning in the near future, because if that would be the case, that would mean that I had to deal with another new agent in th eear future who does not know the history of my account. My previous payments, previous agreements and other verbal conversations I had with the representatives of their company. Then he went bersek. i dropped his calls for four times because he was either not litening to me and kept on talking or in the later phone calls he was already shouting at me.
What an arrogant agent he is. He even scolded me to pay my debt. (Bayaran mong utang mo!). He told it in a way that as if I was in debt to him. I really got pissed and asked our telephone operator that I would not accept any calls anymore that day. I immediately called the Recoveries Department of the bank and told them about what happened.

I have not yet received any more calls as of today from that jerk and from the recoveries department of the bank. But I do hope I would not be able to talk to him again. I was really mad. He was rude to me and to the one who transfers the calls in our office. I hate talking to nasty people like him.

I hope the bank or even the government would put an end to the perils of debtors like me. Yes we are in debt but we are willing to pay. Besides that being arrogant and unprofessional will not help. I hope the government could set rules and laws that wil protect debtors like me. If I was a woman in her 60's with heart ailments, I could have died yesterday because of the stress brought bby talking with that arrogant man.

Duh..I know my life sulks, but I also belive that I still deserve respect..

My Blog Is Doing Good

Posted by Joie - Filed under
I am so happy today. I can see that my blog is doing good. I have asked friends and relatives to check out my blog. And I am assuming that they did pay a visit on my blog. I was so stupid for not being to check on this first blog that I ever made. This blog, of all the blogs I did was the very first one who got accepted in Google Adsense. Good thing I was able to check on an onle e-mail address of mine and was able to discover it. Now I am trying to be more active in this blog of mine. Who knows, I may end up giving up my old job for this new one. An enjoyable one.

I hope non-bloggers and other people who are not into money making online would realize that there are really legit sites where you can earn real money. Some sites can even make you rich if you really work hard for it.

Till next posting guys.

Money Making Online

Posted by Joie -
I am broke and I sulk when it comes to making money and managing it wisely. I have a credit card account I am not yet done paying and I really sulk.

Yesterday I got my paycheck. But before I could get it and cash it out, it was already allocated to bills and other payments I had to do. Now I am left with 10$ to spend for a whole month. I have a two week supply of groceries at home, and I walk to go to work. But how could I possibly survive the month with 10$ in my pocket?

The answer is quite simple. I make money online. On the 15th I am expecting a 20$ amount deposited on my paypal account from earnings I got from my online work.

Most of my online works are part time writing gigs.

One of them is in a pay per post site called mylot.

Mylot is a very cool and fun site. I am a member of the site for almost a year now. It os a pay per post site that welcomes international members. This is the first online money making site I have been too. I really love the site because through this site I was able to discover new sites where I can earn extra money.

Another site I am into is Work Online. Work online is a writing site wherein you make a story containing four keywords each story requires. It is very easy to reach payout especially if you have the time to create a story and an imaginative mind to. It took me 3 days working around 4 hours a day each to reach payout. It pays their members in British Dollars so I am really excited to receive my payment. International members are also welcome.

I have also tried joining freelance writing sites like getafreelancer.com and elance.com. Unfortunately I haven't landed on a frellance writing job yet, so I am busy with my other online jobs. But I still keep on submitting bids for projects I like and hopefully I will get a project in the future.

Other pay per post sites I am into are PostParker and MakeMoneyKingdom. I am not quite active in this sites because I am busy with the other ones. But once I find time, I will definitely work harder on these two to be able to get more incentives.

I am also trying out a new site right now. It's a review site and its called Software Judge. You review programs and games in there. I have submitted three reviews but are still under administrations moderatin. Hope they will get approved.

Another one site I am at is Survey Head. Its a survey site but I have not received any surveys yet. But I am optimistic with these sites.

But I will admit this to you. Working online is sometimes depressing. You work your butt off to to reach payout but still, the earnings are not that descent. Some people are lucky to have thousands of dollars deposited in their account for money making activities in the internet. But I am not one of those. I am just keeping my cool, working hard and hoping that one day, I could be like them too.

Help me out guys ok?

thanks

joie
